Tragic Wall Collapse in Madhya Pradesh: Four Children Dead

In Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh, a wall collapse in an abandoned building claimed the lives of four children aged 5 to 7. Two owners of the building have been arrested and charged. A woman and another child were also injured in the incident.

Authorities in Rewa district, Madhya Pradesh, have arrested two owners of an abandoned building after a tragic wall collapse led to the deaths of four children aged 5 to 7, officials reported on Sunday.

The children were on their way home from Sunrise Public School when the wall, part of a deteriorating building, collapsed under Garh police station area on Saturday. The incident also caused injuries to a woman and another child.

Ramesh Namdev and Satish Namdev, the owners, were apprehended on Saturday night. They face charges under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has announced Rs 2 lakh in financial assistance for each family affected by this tragedy.
