Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, Hon'ble Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports of the Government of India, and Dr. Denzil Douglas, Hon'ble Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Government of Saint Kitts and Nevis, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to bolster cooperation in various sports matters. The agreement was formalized today, marking a significant step in strengthening sports ties between the two nations.

Training and Competition: Facilitating training and competition for athletes and athletic teams from both countries.
Coach Training and Technical Assistance: Providing training and technical support for coaches to enhance their skills and effectiveness.
Exchange Programmes: Organizing exchanges and visits for sports leaders, officials, administrators, professionals, technicians, and support personnel.
Youth and Junior Exchange: Promoting exchanges in various disciplines such as badminton, shooting, wrestling, kabaddi, and athletics.
Sports Sciences: Implementing training, exchange, and attachment programmes for sports sciences personnel, alongside other development assistance in this field.
Coach Education and Curriculum Development: Offering training and exchanges in coach education, curriculum development, sports management, and infrastructure development and management.
Technology and Infrastructure Development: Sharing technology and resources related to sports infrastructure and information and research development.
Sports Research & Development: Collaborating on sports research and development, including training and anti-doping programmes.
Physical Education and Fitness: Working together on physical education and fitness development programmes between universities and physical education institutes in both countries.
This MoU aims to enhance the sporting capabilities of both nations by fostering a collaborative approach to sports development, sharing expertise, and promoting mutual growth in athletic disciplines.
