Gruesome Discovery: Newborn's Headless Body Found in Rohini Park

Parkgoers in Rohini’s Sector 22 were horrified to discover a dog carrying the mutilated, headless body of a newborn. Police were alerted, and the body was taken for post mortem. The incident, which occurred on Saturday morning, is under investigation, with an FIR filed under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita section 94.

Shockwaves coursed through the parkgoers in Rohini's Sector 22 as they encountered a horrifying scene: a dog carrying the headless body of a newborn. The incident unfolded on a Saturday morning in a northwest Delhi park.

A senior police officer reported that the gruesome matter came to light around 10 am, flagged by a local who saw a dog with the mutilated body of a baby.

'The local police promptly arrived at the scene, discovering the headless and mutilated body of a newborn. The body was transported to a hospital for preservation and post mortem. Due to the extensive mutilation, the gender of the baby remains undetermined,' he stated.

Preliminary investigation suggested the baby was discarded in the park shortly after birth.

'An FIR under section 94 (concealment of birth by secret disposal of dead body) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) has been registered at Aman Vihar Police Station, and investigations are ongoing,' informed the police officer.
