Waze's Shocking Revelations: Unveiling Allegations Against Deshmukh

In a letter, dismissed policeman Sachin Waze has accused former Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh of pressuring him to conduct illegal activities, allegedly on orders from 'Pawar saheb'. Waze's letter, presented to the court, details claims of corruption, misuse of power, and breaches of confidentiality involving Deshmukh and his aides.

Dismissed policeman Sachin Waze has made serious allegations against former Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh, claiming he was pressured to carry out illegal activities on purported orders from 'Pawar saheb'.

Waze, currently in judicial custody, revealed these allegations in a letter submitted to the Special Judge for MPs and MLAs, AU Kadam. The letter was initially addressed to Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on July 30.

The letter details how the state Home Ministry's efficiency plummeted under Deshmukh's tenure, with Waze alleging he was forced to undertake numerous illegal tasks. He further claimed that significant corruption occurred within the police department, with promotions and transfers allegedly being sold for crores. The allegations also extend to the misuse of confidential documents after Deshmukh's resignation, a violation of the Official Secrets Act.
