Belarus Reinforces Border Amid Drone Incursion

Belarus dispatched additional troops to its border with Ukraine after accusing Ukrainian drones of entering its airspace. President Alexander Lukashenko reported the destruction of several drones, prompting Defence Minister Viktor Khrenin to strengthen the Gomel and Mozyr areas with special operations, ground troops, and rocket systems.

Belarus deployed more troops to its border with Ukraine on Saturday, citing an incursion by Ukrainian drones into its airspace during Kyiv's operations in Russia's Kursk region.

President Alexander Lukashenko confirmed that air defence forces downed multiple drones in the Mogilev region and near Yaroslavl, Russia.

In response, Defence Minister Viktor Khrenin announced the reinforcement of the Gomel and Mozyr areas, including special operations forces, ground troops, and advanced rocket systems.
