Shiv Sena Leader Questions SEBI Amid Adani Controversy

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Priyanka Chaturvedi highlighted concerns over SEBI's lack of response regarding the Adani group companies. Her remarks followed Hindenburg Research's accusation that SEBI chairperson Madhabi Buch and her spouse had interests in offshore funds linked to Adani's alleged financial misconduct. SEBI's investigation methods are now under scrutiny.

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Priyanka Chaturvedi on Saturday raised serious concerns regarding the lack of response from SEBI to her queries about Adani group companies.

This comes on the heels of US short-seller Hindenburg Research's allegation that SEBI chairperson Madhabi Buch and her husband had stakes in offshore funds implicated in the Adani money siphoning scandal.

Anand Dubey, Shiv Sena UBT spokesperson, commented on the potential involvement of SEBI's chief as suggested in Hindenburg's report, which accuses SEBI of showing little interest in the alleged undisclosed Mauritius and offshore entities tied to Adani.
