The Delhi High Court on Tuesday ordered veteran journalist Rajdeep Sardesai to take down an objectionable video from social media that allegedly shows BJP leader Shazia Ilmi abusing a video journalist.

Justice Manmeet PS Arora issued the interim order following Ilmi's plea, which claimed that she was defamed and her privacy violated when the cameraperson recorded her without consent after a news debate show had ended.

The court issued notices to Sardesai, India Today, and the cameraperson, requesting their submissions by August 16 and asking for the video transcript to be presented.
