Sgt Korbein Schultz, a US Army intelligence analyst, has admitted to charges of selling sensitive military information, including documents related to rocket systems and Chinese military tactics. Schultz entered his guilty plea in federal court in Nashville on Tuesday, having initially pleaded not guilty.

The charges reveal Schultz received at least $42,000 for the classified data. He conspired with an individual, identified only as 'Conspirator A,' to disclose various national defense materials. Schultz, who was recruited because of his top-secret security clearance, was arrested in March at Fort Campbell following a six-count indictment.

Brigadier General Rhett R Cox emphasized the seriousness of the crime, warning other service members to report any requests for classified information. Schultz is scheduled for sentencing in January 2025.
