Teenagers Face Court Over Alleged Extreme Right-Wing Terror Plot

Two teenagers appeared in a London court on Friday following allegations of involvement in extreme right-wing terrorism, including attempts to acquire firearms and explosives.

Rex Clark, 18, and Sofija Vinogradova, 19, face charges of preparing terrorist acts. Clark allegedly sought component parts for improvised explosive devices, made and tested petrol bombs, and tried to get a firearm. Vinogradova is accused of attempting to acquire a firearm and testing petrol bombs. She also faces two counts of collecting information that could aid terrorism preparations.

Both appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court and were remanded in custody until their next hearing at the Old Bailey on Sept. 13. Metropolitan Police Commander Dominic Murphy assured the public that there is no wider threat linked to this investigation. No further details are available at this time.
