Uddhav Thackeray Demands Swift Justice in Thane School Abuse Case

Uddhav Thackeray, chief of Shiv Sena (UBT), on Tuesday made an impassioned demand for a fast-track trial and swift justice concerning the sexual abuse of two girls at a school in Thane district.

Addressing reporters, Thackeray criticized the Mahayuti government's Mukhyamantri Ladki Bahin scheme, pointing out that it fails to protect daughters of sisters. He also referenced the rape and murder in Kolkata, criticizing the politicization of crime against women.

Thackeray claimed the school involved in the Thane incident is connected to BJP leaders and insisted the case be expedited for the victims' sake. Police arrested an attendant for sexually abusing two young girls, sparking massive protests that disrupted suburban train services.
