Family Dispute Turns Violent in Ernakulam

A 28-year-old man named Naveen was allegedly shot and injured by his cousin Kishore during an argument in Ernakulam district. The incident occurred in Muvattupuzha. Police are investigating the matter, while Naveen is receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit at a private hospital.

A family dispute escalated into violence in Ernakulam district, leaving a 28-year-old man injured, police reported on Friday.

The altercation, which took place in Muvattupuzha on Thursday night, involved Naveen and his 41-year-old cousin Kishore, the latter of whom owns a licensed firearm. During the argument, Kishore shot Naveen in the stomach.

Authorities are examining all aspects of the case. Currently, Naveen is undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit of a private hospital.
