A head constable of Delhi Police has allegedly died by suicide at his rented accommodation in Dwarka's Nazafgarh area, officials stated on Friday. Anil Saini, aged 37, was attached to the Jama Masjid police station in southeast Delhi but lived in Nazafgarh with his wife and two sons.

According to a senior police officer, Saini's body was discovered hanging from a ceiling fan in his room early Friday morning. His family members discovered the body and notified the police.

Although the exact reason for this drastic action remains unclear, initial indications suggest that Saini was suffering from depression due to a family dispute, the officer added. Further investigations are ongoing.
