The Mash Telegram channel reported that around 500 Ukrainian troops are mounting attacks on two strategic checkpoints at Nekhoteyevka and Shebekino, leading to fierce battles in both locations.

This conflict has ramped up in the Belgorod region, which borders the Kursk region. Ukrainian forces have seized Russian territory in this area since a rapid incursion on August 6, adding to the region's volatility.
