Union Minister Jitendra Singh announced the launch of a consolidated pension application form aimed at simplifying the process for senior citizens across the country. The newly introduced Form 6A merges nine different forms, streamlining the previously cumbersome process.

'The unified form is a step towards easing the lives of pensioners, significantly reducing the time and effort required to manage pension-related matters,' said Singh, Minister of State for Personnel, during a video-conference launch.

The initiative is expected to benefit millions, reflecting the government's ongoing efforts to empower senior citizens and ensure they lead dignified, hassle-free lives. Bhavishya, an online system for pension tracking, and e-HRMS for service records also play crucial roles in this streamlined approach.
