Tails of sophisticated rockets have been recovered in Manipur following recent drone and missile attacks, a senior police officer confirmed on Tuesday.

Contradicting Lt. Gen P C Nair's claims that no drones or rockets were involved, Manipur Police clarified that they have substantial evidence supporting the use of such technology. Additionally, the police refuted allegations of ethnic bias, emphasizing their diverse composition.

More than 200 people have been killed and thousands displaced in ongoing ethnic violence between Imphal Valley-based Meiteis and the hill-based Kukis since May last year. The recent upsurge includes fatal drone and missile strikes, underlining the tense situation.
