Security Forces Nab JKGF Associate with Explosives in Poonch
An associate of the Jammu and Kashmir Ghaznavi Force (JKGF) was arrested in Poonch district, Jammu and Kashmir. Authorities recovered explosive materials from him. The joint operation was conducted by police, army, and CRPF. The suspect, Mohammad Shabir, was directed by PoK handler Azim Khan. Further arrests are anticipated.

Security forces have apprehended an associate of the Jammu and Kashmir Ghaznavi Force (JKGF) in Poonch district and confiscated explosive materials from his possession, according to a police spokesperson.
The arrest was made on Thursday evening during routine checks at Potha bypass conducted by a joint team comprising police, army personnel, and the 38th battalion of the CRPF.
The arrested individual, identified as Mohammad Shabir from Daryala Nowshera, was found carrying a blue bag containing three HE-36 hand grenades and other explosive substances. Preliminary investigations reveal Shabir was in contact with a handler from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, Azim Khan, also known as Mudeer, who directed him to collect the consignment from Surankot town. Authorities have initiated further investigations, with more arrests expected.
