Village Thieves Open Fire, Injure Three in Lalganj Area

Three people were injured after being shot by suspected thieves in Pandit Ka Purwa village. The incident occurred while villagers were patrolling the area due to theft rumors. One suspect has been detained and is under investigation. The injured are in stable condition.

In a disturbing turn of events, three individuals were injured following a firing incident by suspected thieves in Pandit Ka Purwa village, located in the Lalganj area. The police confirmed the detaining of one person in connection with the crime.

The unfortunate incident took place on Saturday night when villagers, who were patrolling the area amidst circulating theft rumors, spotted some individuals hiding behind a house. An alarm was raised, and the intruders responded with gunfire.

The injured villagers, identified as Ramdeen Prajapati (55), Umesh Patel (28), and Suresh Patel (26), were swiftly moved to a hospital where they are currently in stable condition. Following the incident, one suspect, Vrindvan Mishra, has been detained, and an in-depth investigation is ongoing, according to Additional SP Sanjay Rai.
