Police have successfully traced a bag containing US dollars and other valuable items left behind by a passenger on a local train in Maharashtra.

The passenger, identified as Anthony D'Costa, arrived from the United States and was traveling with three pieces of luggage, one of which he accidentally left behind. This bag contained various items including three passports, USD 4,900, and an iPhone.

Upon realizing the mistake, D'Costa promptly called the railway helpline. The train, on its way back to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in Mumbai, was stopped at Thane's Badlapur station. Police boarded the train and eventually located the bag at Ambernath. D'Costa thanked the police for their diligent efforts.
