In a significant narcotics bust, customs officials have intercepted marijuana worth Rs 9.91 crore at Indira Gandhi International Airport, according to an official statement released on Wednesday.
The seizure occurred following the arrival of four Indian passengers from Phuket on October 23, who were allegedly carrying the contraband.
A total of 29 transparent polythene packets containing the green narcotic substance were discovered in their trolley bags. Upon testing, the substance was identified as ganja, weighing 9.9 kg. The accused individuals were consequently arrested on October 25.
