The Left government in Kerala has taken disciplinary action against two IAS officers, suspending them for violations of official conduct and discipline, according to sources.
Officer K. Gopalakrishnan faced suspension for establishing a WhatsApp group with a religious orientation for government officials, while N. Prasanth was penalized for his social media criticism of a superior IAS officer.
The Chief Minister, Pinarayi Vijayan, ordered the suspension following a detailed report submitted by senior officials regarding the misconduct.
