Cyber Crime Investigation Leads to Arrest in Kolkata

In a significant breakthrough, Mumbai police have successfully arrested two individuals in West Bengal tied to a string of cyber crimes. The operation, spanning 16 days, involved coordinated efforts by teams from different Mumbai police stations.
Authorities navigated through Kolkata and the eastern part of the state to apprehend key suspects responsible for eight cyber crime cases. This focused effort has led to two arrests out of a total of thirteen accused parties.
The police have also managed to recover Rs 1.11 lakh in cash as part of the ongoing investigation, with further inquiries and suspect apprehensions still underway.
