Subsequent months saw armed attacks, including the abduction of an additional SP and election-related violence, intensifying the region's ethnic conflict.
The conflict escalated with drone strikes and rocket attacks, causing more deaths and injuries. November saw a police station attack, resulting in deaths and further abductions, sparking outrage and protests. Overall, over 250 deaths and widespread displacement underscored the gravity of Manipur's ongoing ethnic violence.
