In a shocking crime, five members of a family were discovered murdered inside a hotel in Lucknow on Wednesday morning, according to local police.
Raveena Tyagi, Deputy Commissioner of Police for Central Lucknow, confirmed that the accused, Arshad, 24, was arrested at the crime scene at Hotel Sharanjit, located in the Naka area of the state capital. Arshad allegedly killed his mother and four sisters due to ongoing family issues.
Authorities have initiated a thorough investigation, with forensic teams collecting evidence from the site. Inquiries with hotel staff are underway, and more details will emerge as the investigation progresses, said Joint Commissioner of Police Babloo Kumar.
