In a solemn and heartfelt ceremony, General Officer Commanding of the White Knight Corps, Lieutenant General Navin Sachdeva, honored the bravery of two fallen soldiers. Captain Karamjit Singh Bakshi and Naik Mukesh Singh Manhas lost their lives in a devastating IED blast near the Line of Control (LoC) in Akhnoor.

The ceremony took place at the Indian Air Force station, where Lt. Gen. Sachdeva, alongside senior IAF, police, and civil officers, saluted the gallant soldiers. Tricolour-draped coffins were the somber centerpiece as respects were paid before the soldiers' remains were sent to their hometowns for final rites.

A massive search operation ensued post-blast, targeting terrorists suspected of fleeing across the border. Both soldiers were recently engaged and slated for marriage. Their sacrifice is a stark reminder of ongoing tensions and the heroism of those protecting the nation.
