Ex-State Official Kaizar Debbarma Arrested in Noida Land Scam

Kaizar Debbarma, an ex-official from Tripura, was arrested for allegedly defrauding a Noida educational institution. Accused of falsifying documents for land transfer, he faces charges alongside five others. The institution paid Rs 1.25 crore for the land, later revealed to involve fake documents.

In a recent development, an ex-official of Tripura’s Industries & Commerce Department, Kaizar Debbarma, has been detained by police for his alleged involvement in a land scam.

Debbarma was reportedly involved in cheating a Noida-based educational institution using false documents for land transfer in West Tripura. The scam involved a substantial payment of Rs 1.25 crore from the institution.

The police, while investigating, discovered payments made to five others accused, though Kaizar's financial records showed no direct monetary involvement. His active role, however, is under suspicion due to his introduction to the parties involved.
