Tragic Mystery in Hebbagodi: Accident or Honour Killing?

A tragic incident occurred on the outskirts of the city when the body of 21-year-old R Sahana was discovered in a lake under mysterious circumstances.

Sahana, from Harohalli near Hosur, was reportedly involved in a two-wheeler accident with her father, Ramamurthy, who claimed he lost control. However, Sahana's boyfriend, Nitin, alleged it was an 'honour killing' because of family disapproval of their relationship.

Police are investigating contradictory claims from the father, who admitted sleeplessness over his daughter's relationship but maintained the incident was accidental, and Nitin, who accused Ramamurthy of prior assault. The case, filed as death by negligence, remains under investigation for potential foul play.
