In a disturbing incident in Thane district, Maharashtra, a 27-year-old man has been charged with voyeurism for allegedly spying on a woman in a public toilet. The accused, Karibul Sabid Shaikh, was reportedly caught in the act as the woman was showering at the Kalyan facility.
Upon noticing Shaikh peeping, the woman immediately panicked and raised an alarm to draw attention from nearby individuals. Her reaction led to Shaikh being apprehended for his invasive actions.
Following the woman's complaint, local authorities have booked Shaikh under section 77 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, which deals with voyeurism, as officials further investigate the incident.
