The Central Vigilance Commission has prompted the Delhi government's Public Works Department to investigate alleged irregularities concerning the expansion of the 6, Flagstaff Road bungalow. The residence, used by former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, is at the center of controversy, with BJP leader Vijender Gupta alleging financial misconduct.

Gupta claimed that significant violations occurred, including merging government properties and disregarding building norms. Accusations included demolishing existing structures to create a grand 40,000 square yard mansion without proper approvals.

Further allegations pointed to excessive public spending on renovations and luxurious amenities within the bungalow, potentially misusing taxpayer funds. The CVC's intervention followed Gupta's formal complaints, intensifying scrutiny over Kejriwal's tenure.
