Double Tragedy Strikes: Murder Mysteries in Nagpur

Two fatal incidents in Nagpur: Sonu Wasnik with a criminal past was killed after an altercation over money, while Vihang Rangari was fatally stabbed at a wedding. Police investigations are underway, with one arrest made and manhunts launched.

Two men were murdered in Nagpur within a span of 24 hours, causing alarm among residents, according to police reports released on Friday evening.

Sonu alias Deepak Vijay Wasnik, recently out on parole, became a victim following a monetary dispute with Akash Prafulla Meshram during a visit to his sister-in-law. Meshram, along with confederates Sonu Ramteke and Dattu Paserkar, allegedly assaulted Wasnik, leading to his death. Police have detained Meshram, while his associates remain at large.

In a separate incident, Vihang Manish Rangari was allegedly stabbed to death by Birju Deepak Wadhe during a wedding in Yashodhara Nagar. Wadhe, feeling scorned by a woman's rejection at the event, instigated the attack when Rangari intervened. A police manhunt for Wadhe and his accomplices is currently underway.
