On Monday, a Delhi court ordered a three-day police custody for Zoya Khan, wife of reputed gangster Hashim Baba, in connection to the murder of a 35-year-old gym owner killed in Greater Kailash last September.
The chief judicial magistrate, Anuj Kumar Singh, approved the custody following claims from the investigation team that Khan's detention could reveal a larger conspiracy and clarify her role in the crime.
Authorities suspect that associates of known criminal Lawrence Bishnoi were also involved. Police are aiming to recover the weapons used, stating that the accused communicated via encrypted calls. The victim, Nadir Shah, who had a criminal history, co-owned a gym and a business in Dubai.
