Kurdish Leader Demands Accountability for Syrian Coast Violence

In a recent statement, the commander of a Kurdish-led force in Syria has urged the country's interim president to take action against perpetrators of violence in the nation's coastal regions. The commander attributes most of the responsibility to factions backed by Turkey.

Mazloum Abdi, head of the Syrian Democratic Forces, has called upon Ahmed al-Sharaa to address the ongoing 'massacres,' citing Turkey-supported factions as the primary instigators of the violence. He insists that the interim president must intervene without delay.

The Turkish defense ministry, however, has declined to provide a comment on the accusations, while attempts to reach the country's foreign ministry for a response have been unsuccessful.
