In a significant theft, unknown assailants broke into an electronics company's office in Thane district, Maharashtra, escaping with Rs 27.3 lakh worth of electronic goods, police reported on Monday.
Authorities filed a case on Saturday, citing sections 303 and 331 of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita, following the incident in Bhiwandi, an official elaborated.
A total of 50 laptops, 10 SSD cards, and two hard drives were taken in the burglary. Investigations into the audacious theft, which occurred overnight between March 1 and March 2, are currently underway.
