Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant reviewed the Budget utilization for Financial Year 24-25, focusing on an action plan to address pending issues. The meeting also laid groundwork for the forthcoming state Budget 2025-26.

The chief minister, alongside senior officials and heads of departments, evaluated the implementation of Centrally-sponsored schemes while considering new initiatives for Goa. Emphasis was placed on clearing dues for social welfare schemes such as the Dayanand Social Security Yojana and others.

The introduction of Aadhaar-based payment systems was prioritized to enhance transparency. Sawant encouraged gathering public suggestions to present a budget geared towards Goa's sustainable development.
