External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met on Monday to deepen India-Armenia bilateral relations. The talks focused extensively on the trade, connectivity, and cultural aspects of their partnership.
Both ministers agreed on exploring potential collaborations in the digital technologies and pharmaceutical sectors. Their discussions also covered multilateral cooperation at the UN and regional issues of common interest, according to a statement by the Ministry of External Affairs.
Two crucial agreements were signed: one between the Sushma Swaraj Institute of Foreign Service and Armenia's Diplomatic School, and another between India's drug regulator and Armenia's medical technology authority, focusing on regulatory cooperation. Mirzoyan also delivered a lecture on strengthening ties in a changing world.
