Launched by the Union Home Ministry's Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C), the 'Pratibimb' module is making strides in combating cybercrime by efficiently tracking the locations of criminals. The initiative has facilitated the arrest of 6,046 accused individuals and has supported 17,185 linkages and 36,296 cyber investigation requests, as revealed to the Lok Sabha on Tuesday.

In a response to a parliamentary question, Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar highlighted the introduction of 'Samanvaya', a coordination platform designed for cybercrime data sharing and analytics across law enforcement agencies. The platform emphasizes enhanced cooperation among State and UT police forces.

The I4C has also established the National Cyber Forensic Laboratory in New Delhi, aimed at providing early-stage forensic support to investigators, aiding in over 11,835 cybercrime cases. This comprehensive approach underpins a significant leap in handling cybercrime in the country.
