A tragic incident unfolded in Uttar Pradesh's Jaunpur district when a 28-year-old woman, Premshila Bind, took the drastic step of jumping in front of a train with her three-year-old daughter, Ranjana Kumari.
According to Additional Superintendent of Police (City) Arvind Verma, the woman was involved in a heated argument with her husband, Sachin Bind, who had returned home just a week before. Despite family intervention, tensions remained unresolved.
On the morning of the incident, Premshila told her family she was heading to her parental home, but instead, she and her daughter were found near gate number 51C where they jumped in front of the Ayodhya-bound Vande Bharat Express. Police have sent the bodies for a post-mortem examination.
