Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk conveyed optimism on Tuesday regarding the possibility of peace, emphasizing notable progress following Ukraine's willingness to consider a 30-day ceasefire proposal from the United States in its ongoing conflict with Russia.
"It seems like the Americans and Ukrainians have taken an important step towards peace," Tusk stated on X, illustrating the collaborative efforts in easing tensions.
He further highlighted Europe's readiness to contribute to a just and enduring peace, underscoring the international dimensions of this pivotal initiative.
