Police Crack Down on Thane Flesh Trade Racket

Police in Thane's Kalyan city dismantled a sex trafficking network operating from a hotel, arresting two women and rescuing four victims. An official release on Monday confirmed the action.
The Anti-Human Trafficking Cell (AHTC) of the Thane Crime Branch carried out the rescue mission in the Lal Chowkie area on Sunday, registering a case under sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and other relevant laws. The arrested suspects allegedly coerced their victims into prostitution.
The rescued individuals have been relocated to a shelter home for rehabilitation as investigations continue.
