In a dramatic display of community tensions, six villagers in Gujarat's Bharuch district have been arrested for resorting to what is being termed as 'bulldozer justice'. The individuals allegedly demolished several homes, using a bulldozer, as retribution against a man accused of eloping with a married woman.
The incident occurred on March 21 in Kareli village. The family of the woman, suspecting an elopement, targeted the man's home and those of the Fulmali community with a bulldozer, according to Vedach police station inspector BM Chaudhary.
Following the event, an FIR was filed against six individuals, all of whom have been apprehended. The case, underscoring the complex interplay of community and justice, remains under investigation by local authorities.
