Social Media Fame Leads to Arrest

A 21-year-old, known as Shiv alias Sonu from Vikas Nagar, Delhi, was arrested after flaunting a firearm on social media. The police, while monitoring social platforms, discovered his posts and captured him with a country-made pistol and live cartridge near Balaji Chowk.

Delhi Police apprehended a 21-year-old man for flaunting a firearm on social media, authorities confirmed on Tuesday.

Shiv, also known as Sonu, hailing from Vikas Nagar in outer Delhi, was arrested near Balaji Chowk. The arrest followed vigilant police monitoring of social media platforms.

Officers found images and videos of Shiv showcasing a gun. Subsequently, a team tracked and detained him during routine patrols, uncovering a country-made pistol and a live cartridge in his possession.
