Speaking at an event organized by the Supreme Court Advocates-on-Record Association to mark the Constitution’s 75-year milestone, Justice Oka expressed doubt about the judiciary's ability to inspire public trust amidst such pendency.

Justice Oka stressed the need for the legal fraternity to acknowledge systemic flaws and deficiencies as a prerequisite for improvement. He emphasized that quality and timely justice are crucial to fulfilling the Constitution’s promise of social and economic justice.
