Delhi's notorious criminal, infamously known as 'Potty Badmash', has finally been apprehended by police after evading capture numerous times through an unusual strategy. Deepak, a 27-year-old with a record of knifer and pickpocketing crimes, was notorious for soiling himself to fend off officers, a tactic he had employed successfully before.
On March 24, Deepak once again tried to execute his 'filth plan' during a recent encounter, but this time law enforcement was ready. Equipped with gloves and masks, officers thwarted his escape attempt when they stopped him near Eidgah Park. The police team's preparedness led to Deepak's eventual capture.
Following his arrest, authorities registered a case against him under the Arms Act at the Sadar Bazar Police Station. During interrogation, Deepak admitted to multiple mobile thefts and knife-related crimes. With over half a dozen cases against him in various parts of Delhi, his criminal activities seem to have come to an end—for now.
