Delhi Police have taken the mobile phones of eight officers for forensic analysis in connection with allegations involving cash discovered at the residence of Delhi High Court Judge Yashwant Varma, according to police sources.
The phones belong to key officers including the SHO of Tughlaq Road Police Station, an investigation officer, and others involved in the initial response to the incident.
The investigation aims to verify if any videos were captured during the event and assess whether they have been tampered with, sources said, noting that officers' statements have been recorded as part of the ongoing inquiry.
