Delhi Police have successfully apprehended a 50-year-old man identified as Dharamveer, who was famously dubbed a 'drug lord,' from the Singhu Border in Narela. This arrest follows a tip-off received by the crime branch.
Dharamveer, also known as Palla, had evaded law enforcement in both Delhi and Rajasthan. He was carrying a reward of Rs 10,000 for his capture and was heavily implicated in a case involving 567 kilograms of confiscated cannabis.
Previously linked to various criminal activities, Dharamveer's name surfaced prominently during a major crackdown in Rajasthan, where a mini truck loaded with narcotics was intercepted. His deep-rooted involvement in the drug trade traces back to his upbringing in a family associated with illegal liquor sales.
