In a continued effort to facilitate peace, Russia and Ukraine have conducted another exchange of prisoners of war. The Russian defense ministry confirmed the swap on Friday but did not provide details on the number of individuals involved.
Currently, the Russian soldiers who were part of the exchange are located in Belarus, a nation sharing borders with both Russia and Ukraine.
This prisoner exchange is the latest in a series of swaps involving both detained troops and the remains of fallen soldiers. These developments come after the two countries restarted peace negotiations in Istanbul last month, marking the first such dialogue in over three years.
