In a decisive action following a Delhi High Court directive, authorities commenced the demolition of an illegal structure part of a mosque in the Mangolpuri locality of northwest Delhi on Sunday, a government official confirmed.
This operation specifically targets only those constructions deemed unauthorized. Officials assured the public that the exercise aims to enforce legal compliance.
To maintain order during the demolition, heavy police deployment, including seven companies of paramilitary forces, has been made. "No one will be allowed to breach law and order," stated a senior police officer on-site.
