Tragic Family Dispute: Man Arrested for Stabbing In-Laws

In a shocking incident in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, a family dispute turned deadly when a man, identified as Jagdeep, allegedly stabbed his in-laws to death. The tragic event took place on a Wednesday evening in the Alambagh police station area, according to the local authorities.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central) Ashish Srivastava reported that the root of this violent episode lies in a protracted marital discord between Jagdeep and his wife, Poonam. Tensions escalated after Poonam left their shared residence in April to live with her parents in Alambagh, following ongoing domestic disagreements.

The confrontation occurred when Jagdeep visited his in-laws' house. A heated argument quickly devolved into violence, resulting in the deaths of Anand Ram and Asha Devi. Jagdeep was apprehended soon after the incident, as per DCP Srivastava. Authorities have registered a case, and investigations continue based on the complaint lodged by Poonam.
