The Delhi Police announced the arrest of a 23-year-old fugitive, Vishal, implicated in a murder case. He was detained in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, following months of evasion by frequently changing locations and identities.
Vishal was accused of involvement in the February 10th killing of Dhamar alias Firoz Khan. The police revealed that tensions arose after Sonu, a co-conspirator, reported harassment of his sister by Khan. A plan to retaliate ended in Khan's fatal assault.
A thorough investigation involved scrutinizing over 100 related telephone numbers to track Vishal who fled post-murder. He relocated across cities, assumed false identities, and took menial jobs, until his capture in Varanasi. The case is under further scrutiny as more details emerge.
