An FIR was lodged on Monday against RJD MLA Bhai Virendra at the SC/ST police station in Patna following allegations of abusive language over the phone, made by Panchayati Raj Department official Sandip Kumar.

Kumar, serving as a panchayat secretary in Maner—Bhai Virendra's assembly constituency—reported the MLA's threats after failing to recognize him. Audio of the incident, involving a request for a death certificate, has gone viral.

Political reactions include state BJP spokesperson Neeraj Kumar's criticism of RJD's alleged promotion of lawlessness. Jan Suraaj Party founder Prashant Kishor echoed similar sentiments, linking the incident to RJD's problematic history.
