The scheduled discussions come on the heels of a ceasefire agreement announced on Monday in Malaysia. This agreement followed a period of violence, with cessation formally starting at midnight.

Originally, talks were set to begin earlier at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, highlighting the urgency from both sides to resolve ongoing disputes peacefully.
